SOUTHERN SECTION SOFTBALL FINALS

Calabasas 1, West Hills Chaminade 0--Amy Rosson pitched a two-hitter and struck out seven in the Division IV final as the Coyotes (21-7) won their first title.

Chaminade (18-13) scored its run in the third inning. Freshman outfielder Krystle Chamberlain looped a one-out single to center, stole second and went to third on a sacrifice by sophomore Carly Weinstein. Chamberlain scored on a single to left by shortstop Danielle Dryer.
