The event, designed for middle school-age teenagers and their parents, will feature segments of “Moesha’s” award-winning “Birth Control” and “Not My Pumpkin” episodes, plus a panel discussion with industry professionals, adolescent-health experts, educators and parents moderated by Dr. Drew Pinsky, co-host of the national call-in radio and MTV show “Loveline.”
“Moesha” cast members Sheryl Lee Ralph and William Allen Young and co-creator Ralph Farquhar and writer-producer Silvia Cardenas are slated to appear as panelists.
Lunch will follow the event. Reservations advised. Information: (818) 754-2802.
