Maybe We Shouldn’t Put the Cup on Ice
Contrary to your beliefs, a significant portion of your readers do, in fact, care what happens in the Stanley Cup playoffs.
Today is Game 3 (June 3), the series is tied at one game apiece. Foolishly thinking that you gave a damn, I look to the sports page for some information about tonight’s game. What do I find? An article about the ice? Who cares? Both teams have to play on the same surface, regardless of its condition.
Both teams have injuries, they both have battled for over a month to get where they are, and you talk about the ice? That’s insulting.
