2 Women, 1 Man Found Wounded in Big Rig Cab
PALMDALE — Two women and a man with gunshot wounds to their heads were found inside the cab of a big rig on a street Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.
All three people were airlifted to area hospitals, where they were reported in serious condition, said Sgt. Brian Jones of the Los Angeles County sheriff’s Palmdale division.
Jones said the incident may have been an attempted murder-suicide.
CHP officers responded to a call for help after the tractor sideswiped a tree, Jones said. When they arrived, the officers found the shooting victims inside the tractor.
The truck was heading north on 90th Street East between Palmdale Boulevard and Avenue P when it crashed shortly after 5:30 p.m., Jones said.
Authorities have not released the names of the wounded or their relationships to each other.
