THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG
The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports : Anaheim, Brea, Dana Point, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Irvine, La Habra, Los Alamitos, Placentia, San Clemente, Stanton, Yorba Linda
ANAHEIM
* Palais Road: A disturbance was reported in the 9800 block at 9:54 a.m. Thursday.
BREA
* East Imperial Highway: An assault with a deadly weapon was reported in the 2500 block at 4:17 p.m. Wednesday.
* Berry Street/Imperial Highway: A traffic accident involving an injury was reported at 3:53 p.m. Wednesday.
* Brea Mall: A vehicle burglary was reported in the 1000 block at 3:12 p.m.
DANA POINT
* Dana Vista Drive: Deputies broke up a dispute between a contractor and a homeowner in the 33000 block at 7:10 p.m. Tuesday.
* Calle Lago: A man reported his credit card stolen in the 26000 block at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
* Pacific Coast Highway: A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing marijuana in the 34000 block at midnight Tuesday.
FULLERTON
* West Ash Ave: A resident reported a neighbor was spray-painting his own truck, and that the excess paint was flying into residents’ vehicles in the 1700 block at 8:49 p.m. Wednesday.
* South Richman Avenue: A man called police saying his family was kidnapped because when he came home, no one was there and he didn’t know what was wrong. But all family members eventually came home at 11:31 p.m. Wednesday.
* Deerpark Drive: Police responded to a report of a car burglary and found a latex glove under the seat of the vehicle in the 1900 block at 8:07 p.m. Wednesday.
* Placentia Avenue: A silver Nissan Altima was reported stolen from an alley in the 1500 block at 9:10 p.m. Wednesday.
GARDEN GROVE
* Trask Avenue: Police arrested an Upland man and a 13-year-old Mission Viejo girl after responding to a fight in the 11500 block at 1:58 a.m. Saturday. Police had responded to a report of a fight in the Elks Lodge parking lot. About 75 people were in the parking lot, with about 20 involved in the fight.
IRVINE
* Alton Parkway and Lake Road: A 37-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol at 12:13 a.m. Wednesday.
* Arborwood and Yale Court: Three hundred tree supports were reported stolen from a construction site at 12:48 p.m. Wednesday.
* Fallbrook: An assault was reported in the 10 block at 5:58 a.m. Wednesday. A dog owner reportedly directed his canine to attack someone photographing the leash law violation sign.
* Fortune Drive: A 12-year-old boy was reportedly robbed of a cellular phone and $6 in cash at Barnes & Noble Booksellers in the 30 block at 10:31 p.m. Wednesday.
LA HABRA
* Penmar Avenue: A prowler was reported outside a home in the 200 block at 1:47 a.m. Thursday.
* West Lambert Road: Police received a missing persons report concerning an adult in the 1300 block at 9:51 a.m. Wednesday.
LOS ALAMITOS
* Ticonderoga Drive: A report of illegal dumping in the 1100 block at 11:01 a.m. on Saturday.
* Katella Avenue: A report of a vehicle fire in the 3500 block at 2:44 p.m. on Friday.
PLACENTIA
* West Orangethorpe Avenue: Police responded to a call from a grandmother whose adult grandson was choking her 13-year-old granddaughter at 1:50 p.m. Wednesday.
* South Kraemer Boulevard: An upstairs resident was throwing vegetables at the downstairs apartment at 7:40 p.m. Wednesday.
* Atwood Avenue/Van Buren Street: Shots were heard at 9:56 p.m. Wednesday.
SAN CLEMENTE
* Avenida Campana: A woman reported her car stolen in the 600 block at 7:05 a.m. Wednesday. The theft reportedly occurred overnight.
* Avenida Pelayo: A pedestrian was arrested on suspicion of possessing narcotics and drug paraphernalia near Calle Puente at 12:10 p.m. Wednesday.
* Camino de los Mares: A man reportedly ran out of a store with beer in the 600 block at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday.
STANTON
* Acacia Avenue: A disturbance was reported in the 8100 block at 2:39 a.m. Thursday.
TUSTIN
* Tustin East Drive: A petty theft was reported in the 13000 block at 11:12 a.m. Monday.
YORBA LINDA
* Via Vallarta: Vandalism was reported in the 5500 block at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday.
* Via Ventana: Vandalism was reported in the 20600 block at 12:58 p.m. Wednesday.
* Yorba Linda Boulevard: Vandalism was reported in the 18000 block at 10:49 p.m. Wednesday.
* Yorba Linda Boulevard: Petty theft was reported in the 17400 block at 9:05 p.m. Wednesday.

Go to https://www.ocsd.org and click on “Sheriff’s Blotter.” Incident reports are updated every few minutes and cover the cities of Dana Point, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Stanton and Villa Park, as well as the county’s unincorporated areas.
