Seventh- and eighth-grade students who place first in the Cultural Arts Commission’s essay contest will receive four tickets to Knott’s Berry Farm. Prizes will be awarded in three categories and for each grade at the City Council meeting May 9. Essays on themes including “The 21st Century Classroom” must be submitted by 5 p.m. on April 14.
