Mexico Holidays today begins once-a-week nonstop air service via American Trans Air between LAX and Cancun, Mexico, on Sundays. It is the only scheduled nonstop service between the two cities, a spokeswoman said. Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio, this weekend opened what it claims is the world’s tallest roller coaster, the 310-foot-high Millennium Force.
