InStyle Makeover magazine asked celebrities, “If you could trade looks with anyone for a day, who would it be?”

The following are some of the responses, from the summer issue:

* Actor-comedian Garry Shandling: “I wish I were Brad Pitt. I’d like to be that handsome or as pretty as Angelina Jolie--but nothing in between.”

* Actress Melanie Griffith: “Halle Berry. If I could trade looks with someone, it would be a beautiful black woman. And she is a beautiful black woman.”

* Actor Ben Savage: “James Dean. How could you not pick him? That guy was unbelievable. If he were taken, however, I would pick Michael Flatley from ‘Lord of the Dance.’ ”

* Shirley Manson, lead singer of Garbage: “Erykah Badu, because she is the most beautiful woman in the world, I think.”
