PREP TENNIS PLAYOFFS

In another Division I semifinal:

Palos Verdes Peninsula 15, Los Alamitos 3--Undefeated Peninsula easily beat fourth-seeded Los Alamitos, which finished its season 18-4.

In Division II:

Brentwood 13, Sunny Hills 5--Senior Joseph Kao swept in singles, 6-4, 6-3, 6-3, for host Sunny Hills (17-6). Seniors Samuel Yeu and Richard Kim won two of three sets in doubles, 6-4, 2-6, 6-4, for the Lancers.

In Division III:

Westlake 14, Woodbridge 4--Alex Yaftali didn’t lose a game and the top-seeded Warriors cruised at home.

Westlake (20-0) has beaten four playoff opponents by a combined score of 64-8.

Joshua Kuai and Jackson Ellis of Westlake upset Woodbridge’s No. 1 team of Andy Middleton and Josta Mendelson, 7-6 (3).
