MTI Plans Partnership With Veritas Software

Data storage software companies MTI Technology Corp. in Anaheim and Veritas Software Corp. in Mountain View said Tuesday they have agreed to jointly develop data management network systems. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.

In a press release Monday, MTI said the partnership will offer a series of enhanced storage area network and network attached storage systems to improve customers’ data center efficiency.

The agreement includes joint marketing and development programs designed to enhance MTI’s existing DataServices portfolio by integrating Veritas software products, MTI said.
