Ice Dogs Strike Gold in Win

COLORADO SRINGS, Colo. — The Ice Dogs got two goals from forward Dimitri Kirilenko in defeating the Colorado Gold Kings, 4-1, Sunday at the Colorado Springs World Arena.
After a scoreless first period, the Ice Dogs took the lead on left winger Vashin Nedomansky’s power-play goal.
They took a 2-1 lead on Kirilenko’s goal less than a minute after the Gold Kings’ Greg Eisler scored. Kirilenko scored again in the third period and Kelly Askey added a goal with 6:25 remaining.
