MRV Communications Reports 3rd-Quarter Loss

MRV Communications Inc. of Chatsworth reported a net loss for the third quarter that ended Sept. 30 of $74.4 million, compared with net income of $567,000 for the same period last year. Revenue rose 16% to $82.7 million from $71.3 million.

MRV produces optical components and network infrastructure systems.
