Woman Who Burned to Death Still Unidentified
Investigators are still trying to identify a middle-aged woman who apparently killed herself by dousing herself with gasoline, then setting herself on fire last month in Fullerton, authorities said.
The woman was found near death lying in a drainage ditch beside an equestrian trail in the 300 block of West Las Palmas Drive on Oct. 22. Two rabbits found near the woman had singed fur and are believed to have been her pets, authorities said.
The woman was described as white, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, 160 pounds with blue eyes and bleached-blond hair that was naturally gray.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Department at (714) 647-7410 and to refer to case No. 00-06494-GA.
