Sister, Can He Act!
Six or seven years ago, I co-starred with Haley Joel Osment on the ABC sitcom “Thunder Alley.” He was 5 years old then. All of us on the show used to stare at him in awe of his natural ability, and the thought was commonly expressed that he was probably going to own the studio before long.
So I found Maratta’s Silent Pictures cartoon last Sunday on the “Haley Joel Osment Corp.” both amusing and resonant. That said, the cartoon is slightly in error. Haley doesn’t have a brother. However, he has a little sister, Emily, who’s an actor, and from what I’ve seen, she may own her own studio someday.
