Tustin (10-1) vs. Loara (7-4)
7:30 TONIGHT GLOVER STADIUM
Injuries are hurting Loara, the Empire League champion. Running back Billy Chavez is out with a broken collarbone, and defensive end Sam Tewell was stabbed in an off-campus incident. Junior Sam Wiecks, who had only 20 carries for 158 yards during the regular season, will replace Chavez, who finished with 1,445 yards and 17 touchdowns. Even receiver Rudy Acosta might be in the backfield. Tustin has scored fewer than 49 points only once in the last seven weeks, and that was a 35-14 win over Santa Margarita.
