Alemany 19, Canyon 7--Albert Griffin had three interceptions, including one in the end zone, stopped a touchdown with a fourth-down tackle inside the one-yard line and scored the game’s first touchdown for the Indians at Canyon.
A.J. Anthony completed seven of 12 passes for 171 yards and two touchdowns, and ran for 41 yards in six carries for Alemany (2-3).
The Indians scored on three consecutive possessions late in the first half and starting the second. Griffin ran one yard for a score 3:43 before halftime, five plays after he intercepted Vince Titiriga’s pass and returned it 24 yards to the Cowboys’ 16. Griffin has six interceptions on the season.
Canyon (3-2) scored its touchdown on Colin MacNeil’s one-yard run.
