HIGH DESERT LEAGUE
TEAM TO BEAT
Mojave is the favorite and enters the week ranked No. 4 in Division XII. Mojave will get a big test this week against upstart Frazier Mountain.
CHALLENGERS
With top kicker-receiver Jason Tompkins, Frazier Mountain has rebounded from an 0-9 season to become a contender. Desert and Kern Valley are also capable of challenging for the league title.
THE REST
Vasquez intercepted five passes last week in a victory over two-time defending High Desert champion Rosamond. Bishop is struggling and will likely continue to do so.
