Nominees Sought for El Concilio Awards
El Concilio del Condado de Ventura is accepting nominations for its 12th annual Latino Leadership Awards.
The awards recognize people who have made outstanding contributions to Ventura County’s Latino community.
The Oxnard-based Latino advocacy group will present awards in the following categories: youth (students 22 years and under), business, cultural arts, education, community service, health and labor.
Awards will be presented at a Feb. 17 dinner and ceremony at the Embassy Suites in Oxnard. For nomination forms or information, call 486-9777.
