The last two weeks, San Clemente has won with seven and 15 points, but there’s no telling how many it will take to get past El Toro, which has turned in schizophrenic performances. The Chargers played tough against ranked teams, Edison and Marina, but lost to Western by 38 points. No matter, they’re in for a battle against San Clemente’s defense, which has allowed 80 points, 52 fewer than any other in the league. El Toro’s Vinnie Mascari has four interceptions, one for a touchdown, but isn’t likely to see many passes from the run-oriented Tritons.
