Hollywood 27, Poly 26--William Cardenas’ two-yard touchdown reception from Trevor Brackett with 10 seconds to play lifted the Sheiks (2-4-1, 1-1) at Poly.
Poly (0-7, 0-2) appeared on the way to its first victory when Marlon Goode scored his second touchdown on a 25-yard run to give the Parrots a 26-20 lead with 4:00 remaining.
But Hollywood answered with a 53-yard drive. Cardenas’ game-winning catch was his second touchdown of the night. He scored on a 15-yard pass from Brackett in the first quarter.
Poly’s Hodari Terry rushed for 105 yards.
