Sylmar 28, Reseda 14--Isidro Medina rushed for 112 yards in 18 carries and scored on runs of one, 15, 33 and three yards at Reseda.
James Pringle of Sylmar had 146 yards in 12 carries and John Valdez completed 10 of 15 passes for 142 yards.
Eddie Robinson of Reseda (2-6, 1-2) finished with 183 yards in 20 carries and scored on an 84-yard run on the second play of the game.
Sylmar’s third score was set up by a Regent fumble at the Reseda 37. Medina scored from 33 yards two plays later for a 21-6 lead.
The Regents scored on a 46-yard pass play from Matt Diaz to Joe Guerrero to pull to within 21-14.
