Sherman Oaks Mall Is Comfy, Too
“Love Seats, Lamps May Cure That Stuck-in-the-Mud Look” (March 22) about the remodel and change of the Beverly Center and other Southern California malls updating their ‘80s interiors failed to mention Fashion Square in Sherman Oaks. Fashion Square has provided living room-style seating, complete with coffee tables and lamps, along with skylights and live piano entertainment since 1996.
As most Los Angeles area malls rush to undergo renovations to update their looks, Fashion Square remains current with an environment that is timeless, simply because it caters to the one thing that people come to shopping centers for--shopping.
