3 U.S. Citizens Rescued From Kidnappers
Police in Nairobi rescued three Americans who were chained up for weeks by thugs who lured them to Africa by posting fake offers of business opportunities on the Internet, police said.
Officers arrested one kidnapper Monday after a tip from the FBI. Two other suspects remain at large.
One American had been held since January; the other two had been held since early April. Police said relatives alerted the FBI after they received a ransom demand.
The Americans were identified as the Rev. William Danny Marrow, 60, of Norfolk, Va., Jurgen R. Ahlmann, 58, of Escondido, Calif., and James Edward Harrel, 67, of San Diego.
