Does Government Come in Two Sizes?
Jim Doti’s recent commentary piece (“O.C. Growth: Thank the Military and Housing,” July 29) demonstrates how federal government dollars fuel Orange County’s economy.
Nevertheless, Orange County’s political and economic leaders remain steadfastly opposed to Big Government--especially those programs that help the poor and middle class--because they say such spending is bad for the economy.
Is this a case of Big Government for me and little government for you?
