Indianapolis tight end Ken Dilger became the first non-quarterback Colt to throw a touchdown pass in 17 years Sunday night in a 29-28 loss to the New York Jets. With 10:02 left in the game and the ball at the Jet 39, Peyton Manning tossed a lateral to Dilger, a quarterback in high school. Dilger turned and connected at the 10 with a wide-open Marvin Harrison, who ran in for the score. The last non-quarterback to throw a touchdown pass for the Colts was running back Curtis Dickey, who did it against the St. Louis Cardinals on Sept. 16, 1984. Dilger’s touchdown pass was the ninth by a non-quarterback in the NFL this season. The touchdown plays:
