Three Victims Identified in Murder-Suicide
Los Angeles police homicide detectives believe a 55-year-old stockbroker shot and killed his estranged wife and a male companion last week in her West Los Angeles apartment before turning the gun on himself.
Randall Ross of Temecula went to his wife’s apartment on South Wooster Street, said Det. Ron Phillips. Shortly before midnight Wednesday, he shot his wife, Linda Ross, 48, and Stanley Wright, 50, a Santa Monica machinist, Phillips said.
Ross committed suicide, Phillips said.
Police did not discover the bodies until early Friday, after receiving a 911 call.
Details of what occurred prior to the shooting are still sketchy, and detectives are continuing their investigation.
