Silicon Graphics Sells Part of Complex
Bloomberg News
Silicon Graphics Inc., a maker of computer workstations, said it sold part of its headquarters property in Mountain View, Calif., to Goldman Sachs Group Inc. for $276 million as it raises cash by selling assets. The property encompasses 850,000 square feet of buildings that the company built in 1997. Silicon Graphics occupies all but a 120,000-square-foot building under construction. The sales price is about a third of Silicon Graphics’ stock market value of about $765 million. Silicon Graphics closed up 19 cents at $4 on the New York Stock Exchange.
