4th of July Closures
Today is Independence Day. The following closures and schedule changes are in effect in observance of the holiday:
* Offices: All government offices, courts, libraries, post offices, banks, stock and commodity exchanges and many businesses are closed.
* Public transit: MTA buses and light rail lines will follow Sunday schedules. Metrolink trains will not run.
* Trash: Los Angeles residents whose trash collection day falls on July 4 will have trash collected on Thursday.
