Physician Accused of 2 Sexual Assaults
From Times Staff Reports
A family practice doctor was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of sexually assaulting two female patients at a Fahey Medical Group office, sheriff’s deputies said.
In separate incidents Friday and Monday, Dr. Arthur Mason, 33, began normal exams with patients that allegedly led to assault, the Sheriff’s Department said.
Mason has been charged in two similar LAPD cases and was to appear in court for a preliminary hearing next week, sheriff’s officials said. Mason is being held in Santa Clarita Valley Station on $1-million bail.
