Jenna Bush Gets License Lifted
AUSTIN, Texas — President Bush’s 19-year-old daughter Jenna was fined $600 Friday and her driver’s license was suspended for 30 days on charges of underage drinking and trying to use someone else’s ID to buy liquor.
Municipal Judge Karrie Key fined Bush $100 and ordered her to perform 36 hours of community service and attend a session in which victims of alcohol-related crimes discuss their experiences.
If Bush completes the requirements and stays out of trouble for three months, the charge will be dropped.
Community Court Judge Elisabeth Earle fined Bush $500 in addition to suspending her driver’s license on the underage drinking charge.
