Police Seek Help in Cabby’s Killing

Los Angeles police are asking for the public’s help in finding the man who fatally stabbed a taxicab driver early Sunday.

Keum Sik Kim, 59, was found dead in the 800 block of Brooks Avenue in Venice’s Oakwood neighborhood.

The attacker is described as 18 to 20 years old, about 5 feet 10 with a thin build and wearing a dark sweatshirt. The death of Kim marks the second killing of a cabdriver in a month. On June 11, Hak Choon Chun, a 64-year-old grandfather, was shot to death in South-Central Los Angeles as he arrived to pick up a fare.
