So far, the playoffs have been a walk in the mud for the top-seeded Dolphins, who are making their first finals appearance. In four playoff games, Dana Hills has outscored Oxnard, Long Beach Wilson, El Rancho and Arcadia, 15-1. Second-seeded Millikan has had a rougher time getting here--going to penalty kicks against Channel Islands in the second round and overtime against Los Alamitos in the semifinals. Millikan’s only loss came to Dana Hills more than two months ago in the Marina tournament’s championship game, 3-0. In that game, Dana Hills used its size to win balls out of the air in the midfield and its strength to score inside the penalty box.
