HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER
La Canada St. Francis 3, Pomona Diamond Ranch 1--Ryan Shaw scored two of the Golden Knights’ goals--including the game-winner--as St. Francis (23-5) won the Division IV championship over the Panthers (24-7-1) at Gahr High, its first Southern Section title since 1996.
Shaw increased his season total to 30 and his career total to 80--both school records.
