Fed Up With Air Travel
I have just returned from a cruise out of San Diego. One of my main reasons for taking a cruise was to avoid air travel. To my surprise, many Californians I spoke to on the ship took this cruise for the same reason.
The airlines can blame their lowered earnings on a reduction in business travel, higher fuel costs and higher wages, but they should not ignore the avoidance of flying by vacationers.
We’re tired of waiting in lines, sitting in cramped seats and having flights canceled or delayed.
Until the airlines improve their service, those of us with choices will opt for other modes of travel.
