4 Seniors Named Presidential Scholars
Four Los Angeles County high school seniors Tuesday were named Presidential Scholars by a White House-appointed commission.
Denise A. Grab of San Marino High School and Justin C. Kao of Palos Verdes Peninsula High School in Rolling Hills Estates were honored for their academic success. Kenneth M. Roy of Viewpoint School in Calabasas and David A. Green of Crossroads School for Arts and Sciences in Santa Monica were recognized for their scholastic and artistic endeavors.
They are among 141 students selected from states nationwide for outstanding scholarship, and have been invited to make a weeklong June visit to Washington, where President Bush will award them medallions for their accomplishments.
