26-Year-Old Motorist Is Shot in Head, Dies
A 26-year-old Los Angeles man was killed in an apparent drive-by shooting, police said Friday.
Rudolpho Rodarte, 26, was driving west in the 300 block of West Chevy Chase Drive near Central Avenue at 10 p.m. Thursday when he was shot once in the head, said Sgt. Bruce Fox of the Glendale Police Department. Rodarte was alone in the car and died as he was being taken to County-USC Medical Center, Fox said.
Investigators were trying to determine whether the slaying was related to a fatal shooting two hours later on Hollydale Drive in Atwater Village, Fox said.
