Good Luck, Dennis; Signed, Tired Neighbor
Re “Rodman in Talks for Restaurant,” Nov. 6:
Having lived three doors from Dennis Rodman for the last 41/2 years in Newport Beach, there have been times even during the week when I wish my hearing was worse than it actually is.
It’s not the parties that wake me up, it’s the people yelling in the street at 3 a.m. The possibility of Rodman acquiring a major stake in Sloppy Joe’s restaurant and nightclub thrills me to no end. If he accomplishes this in addition to having his interests in Josh Slocum’s, I hope his time will be consumed by these two ventures.
That means he will be spending less time having parties, keeping the yellers out of the street and allowing his neighbors to sleep through the night. So Dennis, complete that real transaction and you’ll make new friends on both fronts.
