Anthrax Precautions
Re “Anthrax Fears in a 911 Call,” Nov. 8: Having read the sad case of the postal worker who died of anthrax after his doctor doubted his story, I am astonished that postal workers, especially in Washington, are not provided with surgical masks, disposable gloves and disposable caps and gowns while at work and instructed to shower before leaving work if possible. This should provide a great deal of protection.
