Rodney Dangerfield Suffers Heart Attack

Comedian Rodney Dangerfield is in the hospital this weekend after suffering a mild heart attack on his 80th birthday.

Dangerfield, whose long-running gag is that he gets no respect, was hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after the Thursday heart attack, his publicist, Warren Cowan, said Saturday.

Dangerfield on Monday will undergo an angiogram, an X-ray of the blood vessels, Cowan said. Doctors then will determine what treatment Dangerfield will require. His wife expects him to be back home by midweek, Cowan said.
