Looking for a good hazy-day project that you wouldn’t want to do when the sun’s blazing? One such task is sealing an asphalt driveway when it’s not too hot or cold.

Sealing asphalt should be routine maintenance as it prolongs the life and quality of the surface. While pros use materials not sold to the public, hardware stores sell less-expensive sealers that do a good job. Proper prepping is necessary.

Oil spots should be cleaned with a detergent, not a solvent. Weeds should be removed and the surface should be thoroughly cleaned.
