East County Jurors No Longer Go to Ventura

Starting this week, prospective jurors assigned to trials at the east Ventura County courthouse in Simi Valley will report there for jury duty.
In the past, jurors reported to the main courthouse in Ventura first and were sent to Simi Valley as needed.
Now, when prospective jurors call the courts’ telephone recording to learn which day to appear, the recording will also tell them at which courthouse to appear.
