Namibia announced that it will pull out of Congo’s war, leaving four other foreign armies fighting in the large Central African nation.

U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan praised the move during a visit to Congo’s capital, Kinshasa, for talks with President Joseph Kabila.

Namibian forces have been fighting alongside troops from Zimbabwe and Angola on the side of Congo’s government. Rwanda and Uganda have sided with rebels.
