Shark Takes Fight With Fisherman to Home Turf
A shark got a bit of revenge when the fisherman who caught it fell back into the water along with the fish. The man was bitten on his legs and hand, and was in good condition at a Miami hospital, officials said.
The shark was hooked late Saturday off Everglades National Park.
After hauling the shark aboard, the man was spraying himself with insect repellent when he slipped, falling into the water--with the shark, rescue officials said.
The 44-year-old fisherman “wanted nothing to do with the media,” hospital officials said, refusing to release his name.
