The Mighty Ducks sent defenseman Drew Bannister and center Jonas Ronnqvist to minor league Cincinnati, leaving them with 26 players.

The roster seems set, barring unexpected moves or injuries.

Forwards: Paul Kariya, Steve Rucchin, Jeff Friesen, Marty McInnis, Matt Cullen, Mike Leclerc, Samuel Pahlsson, Timo Parssinen, German Titov, Dan Bylsma, Peter Tenkrat, Jim Cummins and Kevin Sawyer.

Defense: Oleg Tverdovsky, Keith Carney, Jason York, Vitaly Vishnevski, Ruslan Salei, Pavel Trnka and Antti-Jussi Niemi.

Goalies: Steve Shields and Jean-Sebastien Giguere.

Defenseman Niclas Havelid, who is rehabilitating from knee surgery, will open the season on the injured reserve. Marc Chouinard, who has a sore wrist, also might open the season on injured reserve. Left wing Denny Lambert and defenseman Brian White were put on waivers Friday but not picked up.
