Somalian national Mohamed Ali Aburkar was seized in the southern part of Mogadishu, according to a statement from the U.N. Development Program issued in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.

“The U.N. country team for Somalia is working ... to ensure his safe release,” the statement said.
