Ex-Colleague of Avila Files Harassment Suit
A Moreno Valley woman has sued the former employer of Alejandro Avila, alleging that company officials ignored sexual harassment complaints against the man now charged with killing 5-year-old Samantha Runnion of Stanton.
Gwendolyn Green, 39, said she told supervisors at Guidant Corp., a Temecula-based medical device company, that Avila made repeated sexual and vulgar comments to her, according to a lawsuit filed this week in Riverside Superior Court.
Guidant issued a statement denying any wrongdoing and asserting its commitment to providing a workplace free of harassment.
