Mendacious Lawyers
Re “Cheney Loses a Round on Disclosure,” Nov. 28: U.S. District Judge Emmet G. Sullivan said that the defendants in the lawsuit to find out whom Vice President Dick Cheney met with in connection with forming White House energy policy “once again ... have misrepresented precedent.” The White House surely has available some of the best lawyers in the country. So, are they incompetent, repeatedly, or are they lying, repeatedly? And why was this article back on Page A30?
