Suspicious Package Delays Start of Parade

Police delayed the start of the Hollywood Christmas Parade for about one hour Sunday night after spotting a suspicious piece of luggage at Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue.
Bomb squad personnel discovered clothing inside the luggage, and shortly afterward crowds were allowed to return to the area. Police said the parade was held without incident.
