Motorcyclist’s Body Found Near Tollway

The California Highway Patrol on Sunday discovered the body of a motorcyclist on an embankment off the San Joaquin Hills toll road.
A spokeswoman for the Orange County coroner’s office identified the victim as Walter Reed, 37, of Ladera Ranch.
A CHP official said Reed’s body and motorcycle were discovered about 12:45 p.m. near the southbound lanes at Oso Parkway. CHP officers are investigating whether Reed died in a single-vehicle accident or was the victim of a hit-and-run.
