Holiday Closures
Wednesday is New Year’s Day. The following services will be affected:
* Mail: All post offices closed; no mail delivery.
* Government: All government offices and courts closed.
* Business: All banks, stock and commodity exchanges, and savings and loans closed. Many businesses also closed.
* Libraries: Closed.
* Transportation: Ventura County Transit, Moorpark Transit, SCAT, VISTA, Thousand Oaks Transit and Metrolink will not operate.
* Trash: No service Wednesday. Those normally served Wednesday and later will have pickup delayed by one day.
